Sled Dogs

Chapter 1: Vacation
"Dash! Did you pack your bags?" I asked. "Yep!" he answered, happily. Dash gets to go to Alaska and he got to bring his 3 friends, Raggs, Dingo, and Dilingo! When he saw a sign at the airport that said, "No more than 2 dogs per person." he was sad. Then, Dingo had an idea! He said, "Dilingo and I can dress up as a person and maybe nobody will notice because we can talk like people!" "Great idea, Dingo!"said Raggs. Dingo and Dilingo put clothes on and they all got on the plane. Dingo or Dilingo did not make the mistake of ordering dog food when someone asked if they want anything to eat or drink. They just ordered water or juice. Then, they were just 1 hour away from Alaska.
Chapter 2: Tootsie And Hershy
On the plane, Dash and Raggs saw 2 other dogs. They went over to them and asked them their names. "Hi. What's your name?" "I'm Tootsie and this is my brother, Hershy. I escaped from Dragon Island!" said Tootsie. "DRAGON ISLAND?!?! Did you escape by yourself?!" He asked, very surprised."Yes. How do you know about Dragon Island?" "I flew there with my friend, Raggs and my other friends, Dingo and Dilingo, saved me." "Were you the new dogs that came?" "Yep!" Dash said. "Oh, Okay. Do you wan't to hear my little brother, Hershy, talk?" she said, not wanting to talk about Dragon Island. "Sure!" "Say hi, Hershy." she told him like he was a little kid. "Hi!" He said in and exited voice. "I'm not little though!" Dash, Raggs, Dingo, and Dilingo all laughed.
Chapter 3: Talking to Tootsie And Hershy
Dash talked to Tootsie and Hershy until the got to Alaska. "Why do you always saw that I'm little?" asked Hershy." Because 7 is a little number and you are only 7 years old." answered Tootsie. "Dash, how old are you?" "21!" he answered, proudly. "Wow, Dash! I'm only 14!" she said, thinking Dash was 14 too. "I'm 14, so you're older than all of us!" said Raggs. "Maybe Dingo or Dilingo are 21 too." suggested Dash. "Why are you and Hershy going to Alaska?" "I wanted to be a sled dog, but I don't have enough dogs on my team." "Me, Raggs, Dingo, and Dilingo can all be on your team." said Dash. "Okay!" said Tootsie happily. "Yay!" said Dash, who was also very happy.
Chapter 4: Landing A Weird Way
The plane's door fell off, and it was above water, so the people had to use boats to get to Alaska, but the dogs just swam. "I've never done this before! What is this stuff in the water? It tastes good!" said Raggs. Dilingo was smart, so she said, "It's salt. This is an ocean that is called  the Pacific Ocean." "I didn't know you were that smart, Dilingo!" said Hershy. "Did you go to school?" "Nope. I stole someone's map." "Oh" said Hershy, sadly. "I hear bag pipes!" said Dingo. "Oh, never mind. They stopped." he said, confused. "I can hear them again!" "Me too!" said Tootsie. Lets go north! Hurry before it stops again!" They swam as fast as they could and said, "Hurry    up" every 10 seconds. They have never heard bag pipes before!
Chapter 5: Scotland
They got to the bag pipes and noticed that they were in Scotland! "This isn't Alaska! This is Scotland!" said Dilingo. "Are those boys wearing skirts?!?!" asked Hershy. "No, Hershy. They're wearing kilts." I said. "Oh. Look! A dog! 2 dogs!" said Hershy. Dash was so exited that he peed! Dash and his friends walked over to the other dogs. Dingo wanted to know if they could talk so he said, "Can you talk?" "Yes. I am Bubbles and this is my friend, Dollar" said Bubbles. "Bubbles talks weird." said Hershy. "Be nice!" said Tootsie slapping his arm. "Do you want to be a sled dog with us?" asked Tootsie, nicely. "Yes! I've always wanted to be a sled dog, but there is no snow in Alaska. How will we be sled dogs?" said Bubbles. "We can take you and Dollar to Alaska." said Tootsie.
Chapter 6: Another Airplane
They got on an airplane that was going to Alaska. Raggs noticed something and said, "Can Dollar talk? He hasn't yet." "SHE hasn't yet. She thinks her voice sounds weird. I'll tell her to say something." Bubbles whispered something in Dollar's ear and Dollar whispered something back. "Hi." said Dollar, quietly.Everybody was silent. Nobody laughed."Why aren't you laughing?" asked Dollar. "Your voice isn't funny." I said. "I have a challenge for all of you. I want you to come to this window and play I Spy until we see clouds." "Okay!" all the dogs shouted at once. They ran to the nearest window and started to play. Dash played first. "I spy something black." "The roof of that house!" shouted Dilingo, pointing at a house.
Chapter 7: Mush Too Fast
They landed and got off the plane. They saw snow everywhere! They started running around in circles in the snow. They saw a sled dog school and ran towards it. I talked to their teacher. She said I have to pick them up at 9:30 in the morning. I left and Dash and his friends got hooked to their sled."MUSH!" said their teacher. All the dogs thought mush meant to break the snow.They started to pound the snow with their paws. "NO! Mush means to run!" said their teacher. They all started to run down the hill. They were running to fast! They fell over into the trees. I wanted to pick them up, but I had to wait for them. It was already 10:50. I asked someone where they were. Nobody knew.
Chapter 8: Searching
The person that I asked got everybody he worked with to start looking. He told me, "We will probably find your dogs soon." He smiled and walked away. I sat down on a chair inside of a small cabin and waited. I hope Dash is still alive. I thought. The man didn't know if Dash and his friends were still alive. They couldn't find them anywhere! All of the dogs were covered in snow. Someone saw their teacher and asked, "Where are your dogs?" She frowned as she answered. "I don't know. They might have run away when we fell. I'll help you look for them." When she was helping them, they still couldn't find Dash and his friends. "I'll go tell their owner that she can go back home. We might not find those dogs today." said someone who was standing on the snow covering Raggs.
Chapter 9: The Ghost
"You can go home now. We will call you when we find your dogs." he told me. I replied, "Okay." I went home, got in my bed, and fell asleep. Then, a loud voice woke me up. It said, "Sarah, your dogs are dying under snow. They fell because they were running too fast. Go help them tomorrow morning when you wake up." "Who are you!" I said, frightened."I am a ghost." Then, he disappeared. I went back to sleep, and as I was sleeping, I thought of Dash.
Chapter 10: Searching Again
When I woke up, I grabbed a shovel, and drove to Dash's sled school. I started to dig where Dash practiced. Then, I saw an ear, a paw, and a nose! I started to dig where I saw them. I saw Dash's face. I kept digging until I saw his body. When I did, I found the other dogs too. When I found them they weren't talking to me or moving. When their sled school opened, I told the manager, "I found my dogs, but they aren't moving or talking to me!" "Dogs can't talk." he answered. "My dogs can. Can you help me carry them in the back of my car?" I asked him, quickly. "Okay, but I still don't think that dogs can talk." he said. "I don't think we should worry about that right now." When they were in my car, I hurried to my hotel to find a map so I could look for a map.
Chapter 11: The Vet
I didn't see a vet on the way to the hotel, so I asked the person at the front desk of my hotel for a map. She had a map of Alaska or a map of Anchorage, a city we were in. I wanted a small map, so I chose the map of Anchorage. I found a vet far away from where we were. I would have to drive 60 miles or more. But, I drove 60 miles so Bianca wouldn't get mad if I brought back Raggs when he is sick. When I finally  got to the vet, nobody was there, but when someone heard me, they came out of a small room and I walked towards them. "What are you here for today?" she asked. "My dogs are sick" "Okay." she said. "Let me have them and you can wait out here. It will take about half an hour." I sat down and waited. Then, after it has been 30 minutes,  all of the dogs came out of the small room, running towards me, happily.

Dash Is Flying

Chapter 1: More Friends
Dash loved to run around with his friends, Sarah and Bianca. On January 27, 2011, Dash's shoulders started to grow. Bianca and her new talking dog visited Dash and I. Her dog's name is Raggs. Raggs is a dog that gets smaller and smaller. He had big shoulders too. Raggs and Dash met 2 other dogs named Dingo and Dilingo. They were twins. Raggs and dash always thought Dingo was Dilingo and Dilingo was Dingo. Then, Dingo and Dilingo went home with Dash and Raggs. The dogs went to sleep in the same beds. The next morning, they ate breakfast and rainbow wings appeared on Raggs, red wings appeared on Dash, Turquoise wings appeared on dingo, and pink wings appeared on Dilingo. They didn't notice until they looked in their mirror. They were amazed!
Chapter 2: Dragon Island
Dash and Raggs flew across the ocean. Ding and Dilingo didn't go because they don't know how to fly. Dash and Raggs know how to fly because they have been practicing. Then, Dash saw an island! When they got closer they saw tons of dogs! Dash started to talk to the dogs."Hello.What is this place called?" "Shhhh!" said the dog. They are all talking dogs too. Raggs tried talking to another dog." Why isn't anybody talking to us?" The other dog replied, "The dragons will get mad. Be quiet!" Dash and Raggs were confused. All the dogs were working. Dash decided to ask another dog that was nice why they were working. "Why are all the dogs working?" "The dragons will get mad. You don't have to work, though because the dragons don't know about you. I'm Tootsie and this is my brother, Hershy. We should  be quiet now." Said Tootsie, unlike the other dogs. Dash was confused about the dragons. He didn't see any.
Chapter 3: The Dragons
Dash or Raggs didn't see dragons any where. Then, Raggs heard a voice that said, "WHO IS TALKING?!?!?" None of the dogs were saying anything. Then, 2 HUGE dragons came from the ground. Every body except Tootsie and Hershy pointed at Dash and Raggs. "Who are you?" asked one of the dragons. "I am Dash and this is my friend, Raggs." Dash said. "Who are you?" " I am Cecelia and this is my friend, Prometheus." said the girl dragon. Then, Prometheus said, "Now that I have found you, you will have to work for us." "Why-"
" YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK FOR US!" interrupted Prometheus. " Go get all of your other friends so they will work for us too." said Cecelia. " We will soon have all the dogs in the world to work for us!" Raggs started to run away. Dash followed.
Chapter 4: An Idea!
Raggs sat down by the water and started to cry. "Don't cry, Raggs. We'll find a way to escape this island" said Dash, unsure. He wasn't sure, but he knew they could try. They started to fly off the island, but their wings were torn and scratched." I don't think we'll ever escape this island." Said Raggs. Dash was worried and said, "Maybe you're right, Raggs. Those dragons are HUGE! They can see everything on this island." Then, Dash had an idea! "Raggs, did you bring that phone you got for your 14th birthday?" "Yes. Why?" " You can call Dingo and Dilingo!" They called them and Dingo answered. "Hi" "Hi. We are stuck on an island full of dogs that are working for dragons. Fly to this island and bring a boat to carry us back home." said Raggs when Dingo answered. "Okay. We will try!" They were happy!
Chapter 5: They Are Saved!
Dingo told Dilingo what they would need. "A parachute, 4 life jackets, A small boat, and a rope." "Why will we need a rope and a boat if we can fly?" asked Dilingo. Dingo answered her, "If our wings are hurt, we can use it." They started searching for them with their phone, but Raggs's phone wasn't on, so that wouldn't work. Dash always left his phone on, so they started searching for him instead. They found it and Dingo said, "The island is this way." "I'll race you there!" said Dilingo, happily. Then, when they got there, Dilingo said, "Hi" when she landed. "Shhh," said Raggs, "Or the dragons will notice you." "Okay, get in the boat." said Dilingo, quietly.
Chapter 6: Poseidon
They got in the boat and when they were halfway home, the boat started to shake. Dash and Raggs fell out. Dingo and Dilingo got tired of flying, stopped, and fell into the water too. They all fell asleep and when they awoke, they noticed that they were breathing underwater. Then, someone walked over to them and said,"Who are you?" "I am Dash and these are my friends, Raggs, Dingo, and Dilingo. Who are you?" said Dash. "I am Poseidon." he answered. "You and yo friends fell off of a boat and my cyclops noticed you and decided to help you. Do you want anything?" "Yeah! I want you to take us back to our house!" said Dilingo, angrily."Okay" he said. When he clapped his hands they were back home and happy. Poseidon was now their friend!

Dash Runs Away

Chapter 1: Dash The Talking Dog
I adopted a dog named Dash. he ate his favorite food and stayed with his favorite people. One day, we went for a long walk, and after the walk, Dash drank a lot of water. Dash started to grow! He grew as tall as my family's couch! The next day, Dash ate a lot of food. He threw up, but he grew to the top our curtains! We fed him broccoli and carrots, and he grew so much that he couldn't get anywhere but our family room! Then, Dash said,"I'm too big to be in this house, and I can't reach the door!" We were amazed! Dash could talk! We found a way to get him outside. My neighbor, Bianca saw Dash and asked,"You have a dinosaur as a pet?" So I told her, "No, he is a talking dog!"
Chapter 2: A Walk
"Hi," said Dash. Bianca told me, "Dash is amazing! How can he talk?" "I don't know, but Dash and I are going on a walk now." Dash was so happy that he blurted, "Yay!" "Can I come?" asked Bianca. "Sure!" We started walking. Dash saw a dog and said, "What's your name?" Bianca knew that that dog couldn't talk, so she said, "That dog can't talk, Dash." "Arf! Arf! Arf!" said the dog. Dash frowned. He didn't like to be the only dog that could talk.We started walking again. "Squirrel!" said Dash when he saw a squirrel. He took off running. "Stop, Dash!" Bianca and I said at the same time. Dash still wouldn't stop! He was knocking down signs and fences. Then, the squirrel got away and Dash came back to Bianca and I. "Bad dog!" I said. "When we get home you have to go to your room right away!" He didn't want to so he said, "NO!" "Don't talk back!" So, when we got home Dash had to stay in his huge room that we build for him. He didn't have anybody to play with. He was sad!
Chapter 3: The Person
After my family and I ate dinner, I brought Dash some food. He didn't say anything, so I left. In the morning, Dash said to me, "Can I come out of my room? I will be a good boy now." "Okay." I said. " You have to be a good boy or you will have to come back to your room." I let him outside and he started to play with his huge toys.When I was inside, Dash climbed over the fence. Dash met a lot of people, but when he tried to talk to someone, they would run away screaming. Everyone except one person was screaming. The person put him on a leash and took him to his house. Dash was afraid! The person was nice to him, though. I noticed Dash was gone when I went outside to check on him. I told Bianca, and we started to make posters. When we gave them to a few people, they saw the picture and remembered him!
Chapter 4: Dash Is Found!
Everyone started searching. The person who took Dash had a son who got one of the posters and noticed that the dog in the picture was the exact same dog in his house! He said to his dad, " Did you steal that dog?" He told him, "No I found him walking around our town and thought he didn't have an owner." "Shouldn't we return him?" asked his son. "NO! You can't return your birthday present!" He said, quickly. "Okay. I'll take him on a walk now." He left his house and ran to my house to return him. He rang our door bell and I answered. "Hi. I'm here to give you your dog." he told me. Dash stuck his head through the door and licked my face with his huge tongue. Dash wen't around to our backyard. I told Dash, "Don't ever leave the backyard unless someone is with you!" "Okay!" Dash said, happily.
